The landscape from Mussouri and up towards Harkidun valley is a breath taking scenery. Never mind the winding road that is broken here and there. If you manage to keep out of road sickness those hours are worth the trip itself. Small villages scatter the hillsides. Endless terasses climbes high and meet the typical pine forest growing in the steep slopes. In this landscape hundred thousands of people live and work with an unvaluable knowledge of farming the land.

The temple photographed is situated in Jarkhol, which like in many other small villages in the area is situated with a stunning view. The traditional carvings in both wood and stone, forms a rich personal visuality to the temples as well as the family houses.
